Access is via the Col du Télégraphe mountain pass only. The Col du Galibier is closed.
By road: There is an easy route 17 km from the St Michel de Maurienne motorway + D902
By train: 17 km from the station of St Michel Valloire then correspondence by bus (direct connections). Find schedules here.

SUMMER
Valloire is one of the rare resorts to have 2 access routes in the summer: the Col du Télégraphe (Maurienne Valley) and the Col du Galibier (Briançon region).

The Col du Galibier pass is open from early June to late October.
The Le Galibier tunnel, 2 turns below the moutain pass, is open to coaches of over 15 tonnes.
From Chambéry and the Fréjus tunnel, you can get to the Col du Galibier via the Maurienne valley. There are two routes possible from Grenoble: either via the Maurienne valley; or via the Romanche valley and the Col du Lautaret. From the south of Briançon via the Durance valley and the Col du Lautaret.
