SEM Valloire offers a ski touring package for the ski area. It gives access to :
1 ascent TC Brive
Access to the Lac de la Vieille chairlift
Access to the Grand Plateau ski lift
The ski touring slopes in the ski area may only be used during the opening hours of the ski area.

Valloire also has a vast off-piste area:
This requires a good level of technique, a good knowledge of the mountains and the right equipment (avalanche transceiver, reflector, shovel, probe). Be aware that you will be working at your own risk in areas that are not safe, and therefore subject to natural mountain hazards (steep slopes, cliffs, crevasses, avalanches, etc.): it is strongly recommended that you are accompanied by mountain professionals.
Basic safety instructions for ski touring :
- Find out about the risks of avalanches!
- Call in professionals for off-piste skiing.
- Plan an itinerary suited to your technical and physical ability.
- Equip yourself with an avalanche beacon, shovel, probe and reflector.
- Don’t follow just any track! A track is absolutely no guarantee of safety.
