Description

Come and admire 20 talented ice sculptors.
You'll discover their unique and enchanting artistic creations.

This magical event will conclude on Friday, January 10, 2025 with a magnificent son & lumière show.
The competition takes place on the Verneys plateau, facing the Galibier, 3km from the center of Valloire.
Free parking is available in the hamlet of Les Verneys, or you can take the shuttle bus to the site.

PROGRAM

Start of competition, Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at 9:00 am.
Contest ends Friday, January 10, 2024 at 12:00 noon.

The competition takes place on the Verneys plateau, 3 km from Valloire.

TUESDAY TO FRIDAY
Introduction to Ice Sculpture with sculptor Sébastien Dieu from 10am to 12pm and 3pm to 6pm Tuesday to Thursday, and from 10am to 12pm on Friday.

TUESDAY TO FRIDAY, you can watch and cheer on the sculptors day and night.
(Please note that, depending on the weather, the sculptures may be protected and therefore difficult to see during the day).

FRIDAY, JANUARY 10, 2025:*
12pm: end of competition
3pm: Jury passes through
6pm: prize-giving ceremony followed by fireworks display.

saturday january 11 and sunday january 12
Come and admire the works by day and by night: the sculptures will be illuminated until Sunday evening.

* Program subject to change.

Additional shuttle buses will run between Valloire and Les Verneys, at the usual stops, between 3pm and 9pm.
After the show, the sculptures will remain lit on Friday and Saturday nights (weather permitting).
