A love of cycling ….

In the summer, Valloire plays host to a large number of cyclists, who come for the prestigious peaks, the Alpine passes and the succession of sinuous bends.

The resort of Valloire is perfectly located between the Col du Télégraphe and the Col du Galibier and can boast about being at the foot of a legendary mountain pass: the Col du Galibier, made famous by the Tour de France since 1911, and which has forged the spirit of the Tour de France.

Beginners and experts can test their mettle in the Bike Park!

The Valloire Bike Park has been certified by the French Cycling Federation for the past 18 years and offers various terrains of varying difficulties: artificial or natural passages, scree, prairies, forests, 9 km family downhill slope with 1 blue version (a family area with picnic tables and a view looking out over the surrounding valleys).

There are also 11 cross-country circuits for all skill levels – 155 km of marked trails and 2 Bike Lands.

What makes Valloire stand out:  1 mountain bike washing station and half- or full-day outings supervised by professionals so you can go out for longer and go further.

An IGN background map at 1/33000 scale is on sale at the Tourist Office and includes the French Cycling Federation mountain bike routes.
