Atelier 1720

Description

Atelier 1720. is a natural dyeing studio offering colors on wool and cotton yarns for knitting, crochet or weaving; as well as shades on old linen fabrics and organic cotton.

After 2 years of activity on the heights of Valloire in Geneuil, Atelier 1720. opens its workshop-shop in the heart of the village.

Each dye is made exclusively by hand in our workshop.
We grow part of our pigments in Valloire. The seeds are organic and we select melliferous varieties to help the bees pollinate.
Certain varieties are harvested in a sustainable way, and plant extracts come from a GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified organic chain.
All the fibers we use are 100% natural.

Our offer:

We offer you our natural colors through a wide range of yarns (wool, merino, silk, cotton, etc.) for knitting, crocheting or weaving, and through a selection of hand-knitted or hand-woven items.

We also offer textile items dyed using various textile printing techniques.

In partnership with like-minded artisans, we showcase a wide range of skills, from basketry and leatherwork to soapmaking and other activities with a special link to plants and traditional crafts.
